What can you eat for dinner? - Frying pancakes, which is a simple way to dinner

Today we finally have pancakes for dinner! I'm just during frying. Pancake batter made my mom, but frying belongs to my work. Usually eat pancakes with jam. However, after so long a frying I do not want to eat a lot of pancakes. I ate only two. The rest of frying for my family.
P. S. I hope that next time it does not I'll fry them.

My dad is a chef and he is really enjoying today's work.

So, my father was in the office making some more original recipies for the restaurant where he is working.

After he finished a day's work he was in my room eating.

He was really very hungry. He asked me where did I have the pancake batter.

After I gave him a pancake batter recipe from a magazine.

He said he did not care and went out. It was around 5pm. My dad's face was red.

He said to me "You have some time in today, can you make a pancake?"

I smiled and said, "Yeah I know. Why don't we have some coffee and pancakes? I'll go make the pancakes." He said to me nothing but looking weird.

After it he never came back.

After about half an hour I started eating coffee and pancakes.

My brother also liked pancakes a lot. We started eating them very often.

Today he ate one too many. So he came to the table after lunchtime.

He asked me what pancakes he can eat. I said, "I don't know yet. Let's see, pancakes with the jam".

He took one from the tray on the table next to him. So we eat one more, and he took one from my table next to him while we eat the rest. He asked me what to make with the pancake batter, I told him that I would start working soon with his help.

When he saw that the pancakes were ready he asked me which kind of pancakes I want to prepare first. I said pancakes with the jam on top as the first layer is always better than pancakes with onion and garlic.

I really miss my dad. It was his favourite dish.
