Gamo PT-85 has the same operating principle as firearms, we can pull the cover lock and see the inside of the chamber drain.

Airguns as not a toys - how to fix gas leaking

They can be harmful so you need to to pay attention to the safety protocols.

The bolt in airgun works similar like in the firearm but does not require a lock so we can remove the bolt carrier and the cylinder lock mechanism.

This is where the airgun may suffer from the "gas leaking" effect, and I have not verified this, but if I am right,

I would guess some people are having a hard time getting it in and out of silicone valve part.

I've found that one or both of the bolt stops must be removed. I will leave this up to you.

The silicone valve ring  are in the same place as the cylinder lock, not in the same place as the sear. The gas may leak because it is  the same size as the bolt carrier and the cylinder lock.

I'm assuming they are the same size. If you are pulling the barrel from the barrel nut, you are pulling the stock off.

The bolt stop is on the top of the block.

The airgun like Game Pt-85 with own hammer mechanism - may come out if you use an outside hammer.

I do not believe this is a problem at this point.

I have heard a couple of people that have used a stock that the bolt stop would come out the back of the block. So, you may be able to see it. The barrel is the same thickness as the stock. We can see that the block is the same height from top to bottom as the barrel, so the barrel is not too far off.

The barrel is the same thickness as the gun and the stock when pulled completely apart should leave a 1 1/2" or so of clearance from the stock. If there is too much clearance for the bolt block to pass through, the block will come out the back of the block and it will take you a few tries to get it back up.

I hope this will let you to better understand how to fix your air gun gas leaking problem.
