Description
The Cullmann Neomax 260 is a tripod designed for photographers and videographers who need a lightweight and versatile solution for stabilizing their equipment. With its compact design and sturdy construction, it’s perfect for use in outdoor locations or cramped spaces where other tripods may not fit.
One of the key features of the Neomax 260 is its maximum load capacity of 4kg. This means that it can support a wide range of equipment, from DSLR cameras to camcorders and telephoto lenses. Additionally, the tripod features a reversible center column that can be adjusted to achieve a low-angle shooting position or one that’s higher than usual.
The tripod legs are made of aluminum, making the Neomax 260 both strong and stable. When fully extended, the tripod measures 138cm, and it can collapse to a height of 56cm, making it easy to carry around. The legs also feature three-position angle locks that enable users to adjust them to different positions, depending on the terrain.
One of the most noteworthy design features of the Neomax 260 is its multi-functional ball head. The ball head features a quick-release mechanism that makes it easy to attach and detach equipment. The ball head also has panning and tilting capabilities, which allow for smooth and precise camera movement. Moreover, the ball head comes with a bubble level that helps users determine if their equipment is level or not.
Another aspect that sets the Neomax 260 apart from other tripods is its rubber feet. The feet feature retractable spikes that can be used on uneven terrain, providing additional stability. On the other hand, when using the tripod indoors or on flat surfaces, the rubber feet provide a secure grip that prevents slipping.
In summary, the Cullmann Neomax 260 is a well-designed and feature-rich tripod that’s perfect for both amateur and professional photographers and videographers. Its lightweight and collapsible design make it easy to carry around, while its maximum load capacity and multi-functional ball head make it an excellent option for a wide range of applications. Whether you’re shooting in the studio or out in the field, the Cullmann Neomax 260 is a tripod that’s definitely worth considering.

Jordyn Duke –
As someone who works in an office setting and enjoys photography in my spare time, I was excited to purchase the Cullmann Neomax 260 tripod in May. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been disappointing.
The product name Neomax 260 suggested that it would be a high-quality tripod capable of supporting heavier cameras and equipment. However, I found that it could only comfortably accommodate my phone and smaller cameras. It was not suitable for larger DSLRs or professional-grade equipment.
Compared to other known tripods, such as the Manfrotto 190X or the Vanguard Alta Pro, the Neomax 260 falls short in terms of stability and durability. It wobbles easily and doesn’t inspire confidence when adjusting angles or heights.
Furthermore, the delivery of this tripod to Connecticut took longer than expected and the packaging was slightly damaged upon arrival.
Overall, I was disappointed with my purchase of the Cullmann Neomax 260 tripod. It’s simply not suitable for mobile phone usage nor does it compare to other well-known tripods on the market.
