I recently purchased the Slik Lite CF-422 + SBH-180DS tripod and I must say, I am quite disappointed with its performance. The Manfrotto tripod, weighing only 1.25 kg, is much lighter and more manageable to carry around. Additionally, the Manfrotto tripod offers smooth and precise movements, ensuring that my photographs are steady and blur-free.
Overall, while I appreciate that the Slik Lite CF-422 + SBH-180DS tripod does have some qualities worth noting, such as its sturdiness and durability, the weight and bulkiness have proven to be significant drawbacks for me. Comparing it to the popular Manfrotto BeFree Compact Aluminum Travel Tripod, I find that the Slik Lite CF-422 + SBH-180DS falls short in terms of portability and ease of use. If you’re looking for a lightweight and easy-to-carry tripod, I would suggest exploring other options before settling on the Slik Lite CF-422 + SBH-180DS.
