1 review for Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100

  1. Steven Hurst

I can write little, because I have literally been in it for a few hours, but one thing comes to my mind: WOW! It is a handy and small compact for travelers, but I already know that I will not part with it often. The 1-inch matrix ensures really successful photos. Not to mention the lens, ergonomics of control buttons and very easy connection to the internet. Definitely a good investment!

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I connect my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100 to Wi-Fi and transfer photos wirelessly?

To connect your Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100 to Wi-Fi and transfer photos wirelessly, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the Wi-Fi function on your camera by navigating to the menu system and selecting "Wireless" from the main settings menu. Select "Wi-Fi Setup" from the submenu that appears. Your camera will now search for available networks. If you see your desired network, select it and enter the password if required. Once connected, go to a device (such as a smartphone or tablet) that can connect to Wi-Fi networks and join the same wireless network as your camera. Download the Panasonic Image App from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play Store (Android devices). Launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect it with your camera via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can browse and download photos directly from your camera to your device wirelessly. Note: Your camera may automatically switch off Wi-Fi after a certain period of inactivity. To prevent this, go back to the "Wireless" menu on your camera and select "Auto Power Off. Here, you can choose "OFF" to keep your camera connected until you manually disconnect it.

How do I access and utilize the in-camera Wi-Fi feature on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100 camera?

To access and utilize the in-camera Wi-Fi feature on your Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100 camera, follow these steps:

1. Make sure your camera is updated to the latest firmware version. You can check this by going to the "Menu" tab > "Setup" > "Version". If there's a newer firmware available, download it from the Panasonic website and install it on your camera using a computer or card reader. Turn on your camera and make sure it's in Wi-Fi mode. Press the "Wi-Fi" button on the top left corner of the camera to turn it on. The camera will search for available networks. Connect your smartphone or tablet to the same Wi-Fi network as your camera. Make sure Bluetooth is turned off on both devices, otherwise it may interfere with the connection. Open the Panasonic Image App (available for iOS and Android) on your smart device. Follow the instructions to connect to your camera via Wi-Fi. You'll need to enter a password that's displayed on the camera screen. Once you're connected, you can remotely control your camera, preview live view, and download photos and videos directly to your device. The app also allows you to adjust various camera settings, such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, from your smart device. To transfer files wirelessly, go to the "Menu" tab > "Playback" > "Send Images". Select the images or videos you want to transfer, then choose whether to send them to your computer or another device with the Image App installed. To connect your camera to a Wi-Fi network automatically in the future, go to the "Menu" tab > "Setup" > "Wi-Fi". Enable the "Auto Connect" option and select the preferred network from the list of available networks. Your camera will now automatically connect to that network when it's within range. Remember to turn off Wi-Fi mode on your camera when you're done using it to conserve battery life.

How do I switch between auto and manual focus modes on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100 camera?

To switch between auto and manual focus modes on your Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100 camera, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the camera by pressing the power button. Locate the "Focus Mode" selector on the top of the camera body, near the lens. It has a switch with three positions: AF (Auto Focus), MF (Manual Focus), and AFL (Auto Focus Lock). Use the thumb dial or control wheel to move the focus mode selector between AF and MF. You will hear a beep sound when you change modes. To switch back to auto focus mode, move the focus mode selector to AF. To adjust manual focus, turn the focus ring on the lens while looking at the live view on the LCD screen or electronic viewfinder (EVF). The image will become clearer as you bring the subject into focus. When you are satisfied with your manual focus adjustment, press the shutter button halfway down to lock the focus.
