The equipment is great. I use for a month for podcasts. At such sizes, the sound quality exceeds expectations. And the quality of the aluminum housing itself – everything fits nicely. I have to admit that it was not saved on the budget. The battery is great – depending on the mode of operation, it lasts 30-35 hours, which allows you to do several jobs on one charge. In general, I recommend everything to everyone.

Very good microphone. As you can see in the picture, there is no noise
The photo also shows a basket and an arm, but this is not included with this microphone
The only thing that can annoy you is the blue LED inside, which does not always match the backlight of the stand and is slightly crookedly mounted, but it seems to me that if you are not a big pedant then it will not be disturbing

The product meets my expectations, which I wanted him to expect, it is a really great product and I recommend it for intermediate players or YouTubers.

Also, something that I consider to be a minus is a cable that does not exactly match the look and is relatively short

I’ve been using the Olympus LS-P1 for the past few weeks, and I must say, I am impressed. First off, the silver colour gives the recorder a sleek and modern look, and I appreciate the effort put into the aesthetic aspect of the device. The LS-P1 product name seems to carry a sense of prestige, which makes me feel confident in using it.

In terms of functionality, the LS-P1 does not disappoint. The recording quality is excellent, and I appreciate the noise cancelling feature. The device is also very easy to use, and I appreciate the compact size, making it easy to carry around.

Comparing it to other known audio recorders, I would say the LS-P1 stands out. It is more affordable than some of the higher-end models, but still offers excellent quality. I also appreciate the additional features, such as the voice filter and playback speed control, that are not always available in other recorders.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Olympus LS-P1 to anyone looking for a quality audio recorder at a reasonable price. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of some of the higher-end models, it certainly gets the job done and looks good while doing it. 4 stars out of 5 from me.

My Olympus LS-P1 audio recorder keeps cutting off recordings after an hour or so. Is this normal due to the battery drain or is there something wrong with my device?

battery drain. While it's true that the battery life of the LS-P1 might not be as long as you'd hope for extended recording sessions, cutting off after an hour or so is a bit suspicious. Now, I've seen some users report similar issues with their Olympus recorders, and in many cases, it was due to a faulty battery contact or a loose connection within the device. Here are a few potential causes:

1. Faulty Battery Contact**: The LS-P1 uses two AAA batteries to power its recording circuitry. If the contacts inside the recorder become worn out or corroded, it might prevent the battery from being properly read by the device, leading to unexpected shutdowns. Loose Connection**: Sometimes, a loose internal connection within the recorder can cause intermittent issues like this. It's possible that there's a weak solder joint or a connector that needs re-seating. Capacitor Failure**: Although less likely, capacitor failure could also be a culprit. Over time, capacitors can degrade and start to fail, which might cause the recorder to shut down unexpectedly. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following:

* Check your battery contacts for any signs of corrosion or wear. Clean them gently with a soft cloth if needed. Inspect the internal connections within the recorder for any signs of looseness or damage. If you're not comfortable opening up your device yourself, consider consulting an authorized service center or Olympus's customer support. Try using a different set of batteries to rule out any issues with the current ones. If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, it might be worth considering sending your recorder in for professional servicing.
