Very good workmanship, the sound quality is very high, the design is pleasing to the eye, and the green backlight gives a “gaming look”. Value for money: Very good, pleasant, tangle-free cable. The tripod is also comfortable, I thought there would be no space in front of the keyboard on the desk, but due to its compactness it fits perfectly.

Unfortunately, without the anti-vibration basket, it catches every click, putting things on the desk. Zero background noise, the voice is clear without any distractions. I can’t fault anything. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have high-quality equipment with a small budget. Of course, it does not offer the same quality as Røde, but it is very good.

As an avid musician and podcaster, I’ve been on the hunt for a reliable audio recorder that won’t break the bank. That’s why I was thrilled when I stumbled upon the Zoom H6 at this shop back in April. Let me tell you, this little gem has exceeded my expectations in every possible way!

First off, let’s talk about the features. The H6 boasts six XLR/TRS inputs, allowing me to connect all of my favorite instruments and microphones without having to switch them out constantly. Plus, it comes with a removable handle and power adapter, making it super portable for on-the-go recording sessions. And the best part? The built-in preamps are absolutely top-notch – I’ve never heard such clear and crisp sound quality in my life!

One thing that really sets the H6 apart is its versatility. Whether I’m recording a live concert, an interview, or just jamming out with some friends, this device has got me covered. The ability to switch between stereo, mono, and mid-side configurations makes it easy to adapt to any situation, and the phantom power function ensures that all of my mics are getting the juice they need.

But what really sets the H6 apart is its potential for making money! As a content creator, I’m constantly on the lookout for ways to monetize my work. With this recorder, I’ve been able to take my podcast production to the next level, resulting in more downloads and higher ad revenue. And when it comes to live performances or studio sessions, the H6 has helped me secure some impressive gigs thanks to its unmatched audio quality.

If you’re thinking about investing in an audio recorder, I highly recommend giving the Zoom H6 a try. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of this incredible device:

    1. Take advantage of the versatile input options – whether you’re using XLR or TRS inputs, there’s a setting for you.
    2. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different configurations – sometimes the best results come from trying new things!
    3. Make sure your mics and instruments are properly grounded to prevent any unwanted noise or feedback.
    4. Invest in some high-quality microphone cables to ensure the best possible signal transmission.
    5. And most importantly, have fun with it! Recording audio should be a creative and enjoyable process – let the H6 help you bring your vision to life!

In short, if you’re looking for an audio recorder that will take your productions to the next level, look no further than the Zoom H6. Trust me, it’s worth every penny – and then some!

    Dear Mentilu,

We’re thrilled to hear that you’re satisfied with your new Zoom H6 audio recorder, but we want to clarify a few points in your review. While the H6 does offer exceptional build quality, our rival product, the Røde Podcaster, has a reputation for producing some of the highest-quality audio equipment in the industry. Many professionals, including Elon Musk and Neil deGrasse Tyson, swear by Røde’s products. When it comes to sound quality, investing in the best is always worth it – after all, what good is crystal-clear audio if external noise makes it hard for your listeners to understand you? That’s where the Podcaster’s built-in anti-vibration basket comes in handy. It ensures that your recordings remain pristine and free of external noise, even during interviews or podcasts. While we appreciate your point about value for money, we encourage you to consider the long-term benefits of investing in a higher-end product like the Røde Podcaster. But again, we’re not saying that the H6 is a bad choice – it’s still a great option for those on a budget. Tonight is an exciting night as the moon meets a star cluster! Grab your H6 or Podcaster and capture this stunning celestial event for your audience. Just remember to use a tripod and some low-magnification telescopes. As always, we appreciate your feedback and welcome you to share your thoughts on our social media channels. Until then, happy recording and stargazing! Best regards,
    The Zoom Team.

To connect your Zoom meeting to your TASCAM H6 audio recorder, follow these steps:

1. Make sure that you have the latest version of Zoom installed on your computer or laptop. Connect your TASCAM H6 audio recorder to your computer or laptop using a USB cable (make sure the USB power supply is plugged into an outlet). Open Zoom and join your meeting as usual. Once you're in the meeting, click on the "^" icon in the top left corner of the screen, and select "Settings". In the Settings menu, select the "Audio" tab. Here, you can customize your audio settings for the current meeting. Scroll down to the "Advanced" section, and click on the "Show in-meeting option to enable Virtual Background" checkbox. This will allow you to access additional settings for backgrounds and audio routing. Click on the "Audio Options" button at the bottom of the "Advanced" section. Here, you'll see a list of audio inputs and outputs that are currently available in your system. Select the TASCAM H6 as both your Input and Output device. This will ensure that all audio is routed through your recorder for high-quality recordings. Make sure to test your audio settings before your meeting begins by joining a test meeting or using the "Test Speaker & Microphone" feature in Zoom's Settings menu. During your meeting, use the TASCAM H6 as you normally would to record your audio. You can listen back to your recordings using the built-in headphones on the recorder, and transfer them to your computer or laptop using a USB cable.

"How do I properly connect my H6 audio recorder to my Zoom meeting for remote recording purposes?"

To properly connect your Tascam H6 audio recorder to your Zoom meeting for remote recording purposes, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that your H6 is set to Line input mode and the Line output mode is selected as well. This can be done by pressing the FUNC button on your recorder until the "IN/OUT" menu appears, and selecting the appropriate modes using the navigation buttons. Connect a microphone or audio source to the line-in port of your H6 using a TRS mini-plug cable. Make sure that the input level is set to an appropriate volume. Connect your computer's USB output to the H6 using another TRS mini-plug cable. The H6 should automatically switch to USB power mode when connected to a computer. Open Zoom on your computer and start or join the desired meeting. Click on the "^" (up arrow) next to the audio settings icon, located in the bottom left corner of the screen. Select "Tascam US-16x0" as your audio input and output source from the list of available devices. This is assuming that you have previously installed the Tascam USB driver for your H6. After the meeting has concluded, you can transfer the files from your H6 to your computer using a USB drive or by connecting the recorder directly to your computer via USB. If everything is working correctly, you should be able to hear yourself and others clearly, and the audio will be recorded locally to your H6. When you're finished with your remote recording session, close Zoom and disconnect your H6 from your computer.

Why is my H6 recorder not connecting to my computer via USB when I try to transfer files?

1. Faulty USB cable**: Try using a different USB cable to rule out any issues with the current one. USB port issues**: Try plugging the H6 into a different USB port on your computer, or even try a different computer altogether, to see if it's a problem with the device or the host computer. Driver problems**: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your recorder. You can check the manufacturer's website for updates. Device not recognized**: Sometimes, devices don't register properly on Windows. Try restarting your computer and then replugging the H6 to see if it's recognized this time. Data transfer mode**: Ensure that you're transferring data in a compatible mode. Typically, devices like the H6 have two modes: PC (for direct connection) or MSC (Mass Storage Class). You might need to change settings on your recorder to switch between these modes. If none of these suggestions work, there could be an issue with the device itself. It's possible that the USB interface has been damaged or corrupted in some way.

Why does my Zoom H6 recorder sometimes fail to properly sync with my computer's audio settings during file transfer?

1. Clock drift**: The Zoom H6 has its own internal clock, which can slowly drift away from the clock on your computer over time. This can cause sync issues during file transfer. To mitigate this, you can try setting both devices to the same time zone and making sure they're both set to use a reliable clock source (e. Sampling rates**: The Zoom H6 has multiple sampling rate options (44. Hz, 48 kHz, 88. Hz, 96 kHz), while your computer may have different default settings or software that uses different sampling rates. Make sure both devices are using the same sampling rate when transferring files. File formats**: The Zoom H6 records in various file formats, including WAV and MP3. Ensure that you're saving files in a format compatible with your computer's audio software (e. GarageBand, Logic Pro). Driver issues**: If you're using a third-party driver for your recorder or audio interface, it might be causing conflicts with the native drivers on your computer. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver to see if that resolves the issue. Computer's audio settings**: It's possible that your computer's audio settings are set up in a way that's conflicting with the Zoom H6's file transfer protocol (FTP). Try resetting your computer's audio settings to default or checking for any software updates that might be causing issues. To troubleshoot this issue, try the following:

- Check both devices' clocks and time zones. Make sure both devices are set to use a reliable clock source. Verify that both devices are using the same sampling rate. Save files in a compatible format (e. WAV). Try transferring files using a different protocol or software. If none of these steps resolve the issue, you might want to try resetting your recorder's settings to default and starting fresh.
