  1. Mr Johnes

The equipment is doing great. Professional equipment at a good price, durable, reliable, good sound transmission characteristics. Complete set with tripod handles. I recommend to all concerned !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Wintuor

Unfortunately, despite the really solid workmanship and good appearance, I cannot recommend this microphone. These models are very capricious, and despite the information that it is enough to connect to USB, it is not entirely true.

The device can work flawlessly on one device, on another you will need a USB hub with additional power supply. The mere fact that the manufacturer does not add any drivers to the device, and the ones recommended on the manufacturer’s website do not work with Windows 10 is a bit funny.

  3. Jon Owski

I placed an order for a product due to a good, competitive (about 20% lower) price than in other stores at the time of ordering, with the price for the same product, which proves the store imposing a lower margin on its product. It is true that the delivery time is long, but I was aware of it.

More or less after this deadline, the Taplic service automatically asked me to evaluate the order – I defined it as 3/5, which means “sufficient” due to the fact that there are known problems

The recommended battery type for the PG58 wireless microphone in the Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Dual System is an AA alkaline battery. How do I adjust the gain on my receiver for optimal volume level when using the microphone with my Shure BLX288/PG58 wireless dual system?

To adjust the gain on your receiver for optimal volume level when using the microphone with your Shure BLX288/PG58 wireless dual system, follow these steps:

1. Locate the receiver for your wireless system. This is typically a small box that houses the input and output connections for your microphones and audio devices. Identify the gain control on the receiver. It will likely be a knob or switch labeled "Gain" or something similar. Turn the gain control all the way down (counterclockwise) to begin with. This helps ensure that you don't accidentally overdrive the input and introduce unwanted noise or distortion into your audio signal. With the microphone connected to the transmitter and both units powered on, speak into the microphone at a normal volume. Slowly turn up the gain control (clockwise) until you achieve an optimal volume level for your speaker without introducing any noticeable noise or distortion. This may require some trial and error, as different microphones and speaking volumes will require slightly different adjustments. Once you've found the ideal gain setting, make note of it so that you can easily replicate it in future uses of the system. Remember that adjusting the gain too high can introduce unwanted noise or distortion into your audio signal. Start with the gain control at its lowest setting and work your way up gradually until you achieve an optimal volume level for your speaker without introducing any noticeable issues.

What are the steps for pairing the receiver and transmitter units in the Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Dual System?

Here are the steps to pair the receiver and transmitter units in the Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Dual System:
1. Turn off both the transmitter and receiver units by pressing the power button located on top of each device for about 3 seconds until the LED indicator turns off. Press and hold the power button on the transmitter unit (bodypack) until the LED indicator starts blinking rapidly. Release the button when done. The transmitter is now in pairing mode. Press and release the power button on the receiver unit (base station) once to turn it on. The LED indicator will start blinking slowly, indicating that it’s searching for a transmitter to pair with. Wait until the LED indicator on both the transmitter and receiver stops blinking, which indicates that they have successfully paired with each other. To check if the connection is secure, try turning off the power on either device and then turn it back on. If the devices remain connected, you’ll see a solid green LED light on both units.

How do I ensure proper frequency coordination between the Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Dual System's transmitter and receiver units?

To ensure proper frequency coordination between the Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Dual System's transmitter and receiver units, follow these steps:

1. Turn on both the transmitter (microphone) and receiver unit. Press and hold the sync button located on top of the receiver until the sync LED flashes rapidly. This indicates that the receiver is now in sync mode. Press and hold the sync button on the transmitter until the sync LED starts blinking rapidly. Release both buttons when the sync LED stops flashing. The transmitter and receiver will automatically sync their frequencies. Wait for a few seconds to allow the sync process to complete. After successful synchronization, the sync LED on both units should stop flashing. You can now use the wireless microphone with the paired receiver. To confirm that the frequency coordination is working correctly, check the display of the receiver. The "CH" and "GROUP" values should match between the transmitter and receiver. If you're using multiple BLX288/PG58 systems in a venue, ensure that they're not operating on the same frequency channel to avoid interference. You can use the CH and GROUP buttons to select different frequencies for each system. Remember to always check the frequency coordination before starting your performance or event to prevent any potential audio issues.

The receiver displays "Low Battery" but when I check the battery level, it says they are fully charged, what's going on?

There could be a few reasons for this discrepancy. Firstly, it's possible that the battery meter in your device is not accurately reflecting the actual battery level. This can happen if the battery calibration is off or if there's an issue with the device's battery sensors. Another possibility is that the "Low Battery" warning on the receiver is not related to the battery level at all. Some devices have a feature called "low power mode" which can kick in when the device detects low battery levels, but it's also triggered by other factors such as radio interference or poor signal strength. It's also worth considering that the battery meter may be showing the total capacity of the batteries, rather than their current level. If you've recently replaced the batteries, it's possible that they're still in the process of charging up to their full capacity, but aren't fully charged yet. Finally, it's possible that there's a fault with the device or its software, which is causing the battery meter to display incorrect information. In this case, you may need to reset the device or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
