Why GoPro Hero7 White is a Total Disaster**
I’m writing this review with a sense of hopelessness, a feeling that I’ve been misled by the overly optimistic review of Rob Murphy. His 5-star rating for the GoPro Hero7 White has left me questioning my own sanity. How can something so poorly designed receive such high praise? Today’s news only adds to my despair: Brittany Mahomes sizzling in a $252 glittery getup at the Chiefs-Falcons game, while I’m stuck with this mediocre camera.
Murphy raves about the excellent image stabilization of the GoPro Hero7 White. I beg to differ. In my hands, it’s like trying to take a selfie on a boat in choppy waters the image is shaky and blurry. The vertical recording feature is more gimmick than game-changer. Who really wants to record videos in portrait mode? It’s an unnecessary feature that only serves to confuse users.
And don’t even get me started on the battery life. Murphy mentions it charges quickly, but stays a little too short. That’s being kind. The battery lasts all of 30 minutes before needing to be recharged. What’s the point of having a quick-charging camera if it’s only going to run out of juice after half an hour?
But what really gets my goat is Murphy’s glowing review of the soundtrack quality. I’ve recorded videos with this thing, and trust me, the audio sounds like it was recorded in a cave. The sound quality is subpar at best, and the lightness and comfort of the camera do nothing to make up for its shortcomings.
The only redeeming quality of this camera is its stickiness, but even that’s a mixed blessing. It sticks so well, you’ll have trouble getting it off your hand. Try taking a selfie with one hand while holding onto a railing good luck with that.
