3 reviews for Canon EOS M50 + 15-45mm IS STM

  1. Bob K.

To be honest this is my first “more serious” camera, but I’m already after the first trip and first use in action. As an amateur, I definitely recommend it. Very fast and smooth work, nice AF, nice interface. Of the minuses: the lens has a lock that must be adjusted every time. The second is a touch screen, which can be “adjusted” when taking pictures. It is true that these are just the beginnings of working with this camera, so certainly for some time more observations will come out, but in my opinion the camera is most suitable for learning, and at the same time takes really good pictures.

  2. User

I have been using the camera since yesterday and I can’t say much.
As a plus the quality of the housing, photos, lens kit,
As a minus, it discharges very quickly, no USB cable.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I properly adjust the exposure compensation on my Canon EOS M50 with the 15-45mm IS STM lens for outdoor photography in bright conditions?

To adjust the exposure compensation on your Canon EOS M50 with the 15-45mm IS STM lens for outdoor photography in bright conditions, follow these steps:

1. Set your camera to manual mode (M) or aperture priority mode (Av). For outdoor photography in bright conditions, it's best to use manual mode so you have more control over the exposure. Attach the 15-45mm IS STM lens to your EOS M50. Look through the viewfinder and ensure that your subject is in focus. Turn the exposure compensation dial on the top left of the camera body to access the exposure compensation settings. This dial has a symbol of a plus (+) and minus (-) sign, which represents increasing or decreasing exposure, respectively. Use the dial to adjust the exposure compensation until you achieve the desired brightness for your image. For outdoor photography in bright conditions, it's common to decrease exposure slightly to prevent overexposure. This will help preserve details in the highlights and prevent washed-out images. A typical setting would be -0. EV (exposure value). Take a test shot to ensure that your adjustments have been successful. If you need further adjustments, repeat steps 5 and 6 until you are satisfied with the outcome. Once you're happy with your exposure compensation settings, continue taking photos as needed. Remember to keep an eye on the brightness of the scene, as it may change due to varying light conditions. If necessary, adjust your exposure compensation accordingly. By following these steps, you should be able to properly adjust the exposure compensation on your Canon EOS M50 with the 15-45mm IS STM lens for outdoor photography in bright conditions. This will help ensure that your images are well exposed and accurately capture the details of your subject.
