  1. Cnadqa

For people who are just starting to create something – I recommend it the most. Mainly because it has a headphone output that allows you to listen to the voice and sound from the computer in real time. A good microphone, probably the best in this price range on USB.

  2. Georgia Pope

It is true that I am freshly bought, but I managed to make a few recordings – the sound is nice and clean. Even before processing, it is better than the one I have recorded so far, and after processing. It is a pity that the set does not include a tripod, even the simplest tripod. But I recommend it, probably the best recording at a great price.

Very good quality, low price. Modernist design with a blue LED that lights up when connected. Sensitive to sound with minimizing the capture of background noise gives a very positive recording effect. Easy to connect. The only drawback is that the cable added to the microphone is too short.

As a dentist in Sacramento, I was in search of a high-quality microphone for my home studio. After conducting extensive research, I came across the RØDE NT-USB and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Firstly, the black color of the microphone adds a sleek and professional look to my home studio setup. Secondly, the name NT-USB perfectly describes the product as it allows for easy plug-and-play use with my computer.

When comparing to other well-known microphones, such as the Blue Yeti or Audio-Technica AT2020, the RØDE NT-USB holds its own. The sound quality is crisp and clear, and the directional pattern allows for minimal background noise interference.

Additionally, I was impressed with the quick delivery to Sacramento. I ordered in May, and it arrived within a few days, allowing me to immediately put it to use in my professional recordings.

Overall, I highly recommend the RØDE NT-USB for any home or professional recording needs. With its sleek design, easy-to-use interface, and excellent sound quality, it truly stands out among other microphones on the market. My only gripe is that the included stand isn’t as stable as I would’ve liked. Nonetheless, I give this product a 4 out of 5 rating.

    Dear Cnadqa,

Your review of the RØDE NT-USB mic left us confused. While we agree that it’s a good option for beginners, your statement about it being the best in its price range on USB is questionable. Have you considered the Blue Yeti? It’s another popular USB mic that has received critical acclaim and awards for under $150. We believe Cnadqa failed to compare these two products before making such an assertion.

Furthermore, your emphasis on headphone output as a standout feature is misleading. Most USB mics come with this function nowadays as it’s vital for monitoring in real-time and minimizing feedback or latency issues. It doesn’t necessarily set the RØDE NT-USB apart from other mics in its category.

We challenge Cnadqa to provide objective evidence supporting her claim that the RØDE NT-USB is the best USB mic in its price range. Until then, we consider this an unfounded exaggeration intended to sway unsuspecting buyers.

How do I adjust the gain level on my RØDE NT-USB microphone for optimal sound quality?

To adjust the gain level on your RØDE NT-USB microphone for optimal sound quality, follow these steps:

1. Open the Sound settings on your computer by clicking on the speaker icon located in the system tray at the bottom right corner of your screen. In the Sound settings window, click on the "Recording" tab. Right-click on the microphone you want to adjust (in this case, the RØDE NT-USB) and select "Properties. The Microphone Properties window will open. Click on the "Levels" tab. Adjust the gain slider according to your preference. A lower setting may be necessary if there is too much noise or feedback in the recording, while a higher setting may be required for better volume and clarity.
