Sensational picture and sound quality (sometimes too good, the microphone in surround mode collects sounds from the ENTIRE room, even whispers). Execution at the highest level, everything fits together beautifully, nothing creaks, does not crease, does not stick out. Although the camera costs a lot of money, it is worth every zloty. I think that as for the possibilities offered by the camera, PLN 2000 is an affordable price.
The equipment is also not the worst, and the possibility of using filters (diameter 49 mm) further extends the already great camera capabilities. The HDR Movie function, used for the first time in this camera, will work well and in some cases can be very useful. I am a little disturbed by the touch screen and the way the menu is organized by Panasonic, known to me from their previous camera models, a lot of space next to the screen is wasted, and yet you could include physical buttons to navigate the menu, which for me personally would be more convenient than searching finger on the screen. However, this is a purely subjective feeling, perhaps due to the fact that the control knob on the front of the camera somehow I can’t get used to. The presence of the manual mode is very happy, thanks to it you can reduce the noise of the image in not the best lighting conditions (with the help of manual adjustment of the gain level, the automation often sets too large, also amplifying the noise). In a nutshell: the Panasonic HC-V770 camera is a great proposition for ambitious video enthusiasts giving great opportunities to show their creativity and the effects please the eyes with excellent image quality. If you have $ 270 on sale and you are looking for a camera – it’s the best choice, the competition has no alternative to the V770 in this price segment.

The HC-V770 camera is a controversial product. Whoever doesn’t have special requirements, treats filming as a special gadget, he will be positively surprised: Full HD 1080 / 50p image, with super zoom and decent stabilization (including slow motion or frame-by-frame) with the possibility of connecting to Wi-Fi and functions from this resulting (e.g. monitor or watching over a child) However, those who want to stick to the filming a little more will be surprised by the very low quality of filming at night. The webcam is very fast (already in the early twilight area it starts to buzz against the darker background. Filming night scenes in street lighting gives barely decent results in a static plan (preferably on a tripod), and any use of zoom or camera movement (panorama) immediately blur the image Attempts to independently adjust the brightness of the night image result in a total battle of colorful ants on the screen known as noise. Test videos of the webcam e.g. on YouTube from night tests show the quality of image recording which after experience with HC-V770 may not be achievable. I also encourage you to use the HD Writer movie editing program for free – after installing it several times, I was unable to start it – I threw it out of my computer and before I play with Movie Maker. Using the on-screen menu instead of the buttons on the housing often extends to the right function. There is a faster dial access to the manual tuning function (under the screen) but you have to practice it before the recording starts. However, those buttons that has on the housing are hardly noticeable and fit rather to small fingers. Next to HDMI and USB sockets – it is better to remember their order immediately so as not to confuse them when connecting cables. The webcam likes to warm up, she also likes to get lost in the automatic white balance in the room in the evening – you need to manually help her choose the range for the type of lighting. The full user manual available only on the web – also requires the ability to understand it – written for several models of Panas cameras, requires thinking about what and for which model the author meant. In sum: if you accept the flaws honestly knowing about them – it’s worth buying.
