I chose this camera for nature documentation, recommended by a friend due to the speed of autofocus – it works much better in the case of moving objects (e.g. birds) compared to the Nikon Coolpix P900

After some initial difficulties (poor user manual), I made friends with the camera. I am most pleased with the possibility of taking panoramic photos, which are easy to take and very well reproduced. Together with the 65x optical zoom, this is the perfect backpack camera as it’s not too heavy. But recordings in difficult lighting conditions are also quite successful. I recommend to beginners.

Virtually every “oh” and “ah” justified, but unfortunately the problem of a tiny stable of glasses is a shadow of the excellent quality.
If you’re on a rubber budget and don’t want more than portraits and landscapes, then you won’t notice the problem. But if, like me, you are on a budget and are fond of wildlife, then definitely avoid this system.
I paid for it, so I warn you right away. MC-11 or Metabones V won’t solve the problem. There are no long lenses in Sony’s offer (except for the cosmically expensive 100-400) and those from Canon connected via an adapter lose their ability to work with continuous AF. The accuracy in this mode is terrible.
I emphasize once again – it’s not the camera that is bad (it’s insane) – it’s the size of its ecosystem that makes it hard.

I bought the camera to be able to take pictures not with a heavy DSLR with many lenses as before, but with a much smaller camera, with one lens that replaces several of mine in the current camera.
The camera has a lot of different functions and to get them all you have to go through several dozen pages of instructions, or use the automatic photo function, then everything is simple.
As for the quality of photos and videos that can be taken with this Canon, they are very good, the colors are great and the stabilization does a good job.
If you need something that will deliver across a broader range of indoor and outdoor situations, though, it may be best to look towards a camera with a more modest zoom range and a larger sensor.
In conclusion, I recommend the camera to everyone, amateurs and professionals.
The shop, as usual, did a great job and I received the camera at the agreed time.
Finally, if you are looking for a camera with a larger image sensor and a larger dynamic range Full Frame DSLR is still an option but the price is high.

Today, as I watched the devastating LA wildfires leave 400 animals scorching hot, my thoughts turned to the Canon PowerShot SX70 HS and its supposed ability to capture panoramic photos with ease. But let me tell you, dear reader, it’s all just a facade.
The camera’s perfect panoramic feature is nothing more than a gimmick. The resulting images are often marred by distortion, vignetting, and an unsettling sense of detachment from the scene before you. It’s like trying to take a snapshot of a wildfire – the image may look good at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it reveals all its flaws.
And don’t even get me started on the 65x optical zoom. Yes, it’s impressive, I’ll give Jigi that. But try using it in low light conditions and you’ll be left with nothing but a grainy, noisy mess.
